It is being reported that the makers of Bigg Boss OTT season 2 have approached Zaid Darbar to be a part of the show
Bigg Boss enjoys a huge fan base in India. From the iconic Hindi version to the ones hosted in regional languages, netizens are always looking forward to the makers announcing a new season with a different concept. It was in 2021, during the pandemic, that the makers had launched Bigg Boss OTT, which was exclusively streamed on Voot. Hosted by Karan Johar, while the show failed to create a connection with the audience, the news about its second season started doing the rounds on social media.
Earlier it was reported that Salman Khan, who has hosted the reality show for the Hindi audience for over more than 12 seasons now, will be returning to the small screens to host Bigg Boss OTT. It was also stated that, the show being in the pre-production stage, the makers have started contacting celebrities to participate in the second season. Yes, you read that right! Gauahar Khan’s husband and musician Ismail Darbar’s son, Zaid, who is currently busy embracing the initial phase of fatherhood has been approached by the makers to be a part of the show. While there is yet to be an official confirmation on the same, fans are hopeful to see a newer side of his personality. For the unversed, earlier when the second season was supposed to launch he had almost given his confirmation, however, the show was cancelled. Talking about the concept of season one, the contestants had to stay connected with each other and pair together to play games. During the elimination rounds, the least performing pairs were eliminated for the show. At the end, the remaining contestants, who reached the finale, got a direct entry to the main show, Bigg Boss, during its 15th season.
